WHO WE ARE
ADTS (Association pour le Développement et la Transformation Sociale) is a Rwandan non-governmental organization established in 1998 and legally registered in 2003. With more than two decades of community work, ADTS supports social transformation through community-led education and training, GBV prevention and family rehabilitation, socio-economic empowerment of vulnerable women, teen mothers' support, and civic participation programs informed by human-rights principles.
ADTS was formed in the wake of Rwanda's post-genocide recovery needs. Our founders identified critical gaps: social cohesion, community trust, economic vulnerability, gender-based violence, and limited participation in governance. Our programming focuses on behavior and mindset change through pedagogy and participatory training, aimed at restoring dignity, strengthening families, and promoting equitable development.
